Overall, I believe this project was a success. The reason being, we got all of our footage shot in the space of 2 hours, we only took two days to edit and ur final product is polished and looks good. However, to improve this project, I think we could have planned a bit more and asked a few more questions than we did as we did not have much time to put this project together and therefore, I don't think it turned out as professionally as I'd hoped. However, our group still worked very well as a team and I think we did very well with the amount of time we were given.

At first, we were unsure of where to film our project. However, then we looked into filming at Walby Farm Park in Carlisle. However, they said no and therefore, we decided to look into filming at my godmother's farm. Therefore, we went and shot there for a few hours. We got a great interview and enough footage to use as b-roll. I recorded the voieover outside of college and edited in the countryfile into and voiceovers myself at home. However, before filming, we had to do production paperwork. Our producer Ren did that for us. I will include the paperwork below: Overall, I believe this shoot was a success as we got enough footage for our project and we managed to edit into something that was polished and looked finished. However, I am aware that we could have improved on some things. You can read about that in my evacuation post.
Countryfile is a BBC One programme that explores the British countryside and some interesting topics surrounding the countryside in Britain. However, the episodes of this show are normally current and therefore, this show also follows current events. For example: the centenary of The Battle Of The Somme was this year and therefore, Countryfile created "A Remembrance Sunday Special". Overall, the audience for this show is very varied. There's young people, older people, people who live in the country, people who live in major cities. Therefore it would be difficult to pin point a specific group of people as the target audience for this show.
However, Judging from the episodes of the show I have seen and judging from my analysis of "A Remembrance Sunday Special" I believe that the target audience for this show is very varied and therefore, I cannot target a specific age group or group of people that would watch this show apart from the people who just like nature and enjoy the show. I don't think there is a specific audience for this show. |
